The 11th annual Jazz Night will be February 10th, 2006

Please join us for the 11th annual Jazz Night at Buck's Run Golf Club on Friday, February 10th, 2006.  Dinner begins at 6:30 PM, dancing begins at 8:00 PM.  Dinner includes three entries and all the trimmings.  Tickets are available from any Jazz Band member or by contacting Maggie Hess or Mary Nichol.  Tickets are $25.00 per person for dinner, dessert, and dance, or $10.00 per person for dessert and dance. CMU Jazz Weekend

CMU Jazz Weekend 2006 is scheduled for February 17th.  Jazz bands from across the state will be competing in this all day event.

West Jazz Band

The West Intermediate Jazz Band has begun and rehearses on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 3:00pm until 4:00.  The jazz band is being taught, with the aid of the CMU Chapter of the International Jazz Educators Association, by Dr. George Hess and CMU student Woodrow Chenowith.  The jazz band is open to any WIS band/choir/orchestra student or any other student with the permission of Mr. Taton.  The band will be performing on our Spring concert later in the year.
